Looking for the best trimmer for men? Have you been left scratching your head, wondering which electric shaver to buy? Manscaped 4.0 or Meridian Trimmer? I have been using both brands for years and will give you the full unbiased story. Let’s get started!
Average vs. Below the Belt.
Many people also ask me why a below-the-belt trimmer is different from any other trimmer. The Manscaped trimmer has a white blade inside, but so does Meridian Grooming. When I compare it to a regular trimmer (like in the picture), you can see that the regular trimmer has a blade made out of steel. Manscaped and Meridian Grooming have ceramic blades instead of steel.
These below-the-belt trimmers also have a wider gap between them, making it less likely that you’ll pull, tuck, and cut yourself. Regular trimmers do not have such a large gap, making it more dangerous.
Meridian vs Manscaped 4.0
Is it safe to say that Manscaped was a success?
Okay. The Meridian trimmer won the battle between the Meridian and the Manscaped 3.0 because it had a higher safety margin, was more convenient, and had a longer battery life. Was Manscaped 4.0 able to resolve these issues? What else did the Lawn Mower 4.0 have to offer?
Performance & Safety
Performance and safety are primarily determined by blades, motors, and batteries. None of these three components were altered in the new lawn mower 4.0. The blades, engine, and batteries are all interchangeable with the Lawn Mower 3.0.
Winner: the Meridian trimmer.
Battery Life And Charging System
The Manscaped 3.0’s battery life has been criticised by a number of consumers. To address this issue, the Manscaped 4.0 includes a whole redesigned charging method. A wireless dock and a Type-C USB port are included with the Lawn Mower 4.0. As a result, your trimmer may be charged wirelessly. However, with the same battery runtime, this comes at the cost of charging time, which has increased to 5 hours for 90 minutes of usage. The Meridian trimmer, on the other hand, takes only one hour to completely charge and provides 90 minutes of operation. The Manscaped 4.0 crotch trimmer has an overcharging and over-discharging protection circuit to deal with the battery discharge problem.
Despite this, several consumers say that the battery issue persists. The battery, not only the charging technology, appears to be in need of replacement in the future edition.
As a result, the Meridian Grooming trimmer has a longer battery life for the required time charged.
Winner: the Meridian Trimmer
Attachments: The Lawn Mower 4.0, unlike the Lawn Mower 3.0, features two guards (3-6 mm, 10-13 mm). There are two combs included with the Meridian trimmer (3-6 mm and 9-12 mm).
Power indicator: Both trimmers have a power indicator that lets you see how much battery life is left so you don’t get caught off guard when the battery dies in the middle of shaving.
LED Spotlight: The Lawn Mower 4.0 has an LED spotlight that can be turned on and off for enhanced illumination and precision, something the Meridian Grooming trimmer lacks.
Winner: The Manscaped Lawn Mower 4.0
In short: When comparing the Meridian trimmer to the Manscaped Lawn Mower 4.0, I still prefer the Meridian trimmer. The Lawn Mower 4.0 might be more practical if you travel frequently. Moreover, I have had the same trimmer for more than 2 years and it still works just as good!
